I’m delighted to have completed the braiding for 2026. I eagerly anticipate placing these treasures into your hands. I sincerely hope you will appreciate the freshness of these bulbs—harvested in May and early June right here in Kentucky—and grown with organic soil amendments and practices. I’m glad so many customers say they enjoy looking at them hanging on the wall. Thank you for expressing that you see the natural beauty of these creations. Yet, I implore you to clip a bulb and let these pungent cloves enhance your favorite dishes and waft through your dining area to entice your family to come to the table. Let the amazing God-infused, natural medicinal value from each clove support and strengthen your physical bodies.

A sneak peak about the 2027 harvest: I am so grateful for my dedicated growers, Barbara Johnson, and Kim and John D’Amato, but since garlic must be rotated—not planted in the same place again for 3-5 years—I plan to grow most of the SEED in two new Monticello, KY raised beds. My husband Jim has procured the red cedar and it is aging in the shed, awaiting his careful construction of the 4’x12’x18” raised bed frames. The remaining saved SEED I hope to plant in Louisville in the Shelby Park Community Garden (SPCG) where we rent 4 raised beds.

The SEED braids of Nootka Rose, Broadleaf Czech, and Music hang on my kitchen spice shelves (in Louisville) and wall support posts (in Monticello) and await the November planting time. I plan to purchase new Inchellium Red SEED for 2027 to replenish that “easiest to grow” variety.

To give you hope for the 2027 harvest, here are the seed braids—I braid them differently from the product braids for sale. That’s so that I don’t accidentally sell them—I did sell one SEED braid one year and that’s why, annually, I replenish a variety or two from the seed companies Allicin’s Ranch and Filaree Farms.
